Brent Panell’s cyber and security experience began at Target Corporation, where he served as Regional Director and then later continued while serving Regions bank as Vice-President. Brent ended his corporate career as Vice-President with Maridan Corporation. Brent went on to co-found ControlAltProtect and serves as CEO.
Hans Lemons has spent the last 25 years of his career in the Cyber Security and Technology Sector. His expertise in mobile and digital forensics, application security, threat hunting, and security architecture is rooted in his Computer Programming background. As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of ControlAltProtect, Hans leads innovation and development of the systems and processes that protect clients worldwide, and he develops custom Cyber Security programs tailored to their needs. Hans also serves as CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) and consultant for many organizations across a wide range of industries. His entrepreneurial background includes successful ventures in game development, workflow automation software, medical software, and artificial intelligence. He is passionate about mentoring others in his field and speaks frequently on Cyber Security, emerging trends, and threats. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Hans is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is an avid aerospace and aviation enthusiast who loves the outdoors.
Sammie Faucett is our Operations Director at ControlAltProtect, where she handles the day-to-day operations and human resources for our company. She transitioned to the technology world from health care and takes pride in providing top tier customer service, educating our clients, and managing our team's efficiency and integrity.

Steve Knox, known as "Grumpy," serves as the IT Operations Manager with Client Secure IT, Partners as well as serving as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at ControlAltProtect. He specializes in building and securing IT infrastructures for clients and organizations, with a dedicated focus on nurturing and developing talented IT professionals to support future growth. Steve brings over 30 years of experience in information technology, working across both corporate and governmental environments. His expertise is particularly strong in medical settings, where IT security and reliability are paramount.
Outside of work, Steve enjoys traveling to visit his grandchildren, playing golf, and vacationing in the Tennessee mountains or on the beaches of the Gulf Coast.
Jonathon Cain (JC), is a Senior Cyber Security Engineer at ControlAltProtect, with a focus on securing the technology and methodology used by clients and organizations. As a member of the company’s cyber incident response team and the infrastructure implementation/management group, he provides both leadership and boots-on-the-ground services, pulling from over 30 years of experience in technology-related roles across various industries.

When not working with a client, he’s most likely to be found with family and friends at a concert, motorsports event, camping, or exploring offroad trails.
Zach Johnson has managed security services for over 17 years. A virtual legend within the InfoSec space, Zach functions as a Secure IT Solutions Architect and Director of Security Operations with a deep passion for cyber security, system automation and innovative problem-solving. Zach regularly volunteers time to mentor Information Technology professionals on Information Security.
